United Way of Southwest Missouri & Southeast Kansas is excited to invite you and your company to participate in the 21st United Way Worldwide Day of Action.

Day of Action provides our local United Way the opportunity to rally the communities around us to help improve education, income, and health. The longest day of the year cannot go unanswered without the opportunity to harness the extra hours of sunlight to tap the considerable power of volunteers to make a connection in a community, change a life and contribute to making our community a better place for all.

The objective of Day of Action is to involve employees in volunteering with a United Way affiliated human health and welfare program, giving them hands-on experience with non-profit organizations in various counties of SWMO and SEK areas. The volunteer projects also afford company employees a better way to get to know each other outside of the work environment. 
     
Week of Action:  September 4-7, 2012

Yes! Day of Action is Week of Action as we have extended it out over multiple days.  A drive will be held during those dates as well for those who want to participate but are prevented from doing so due to work demands.
